I have a few questions regarding an OEG Bantam of mine... She's about 25 weeks old and I believe has gone broody the past few days. I have repeatedly taken her off the nest over the weekend, and other than fluffing up and clucking her disapproval at me for a few minutes, she would head right back for the nest.

I wouldn't mind letting her sit on eggs, but here's my questions. I have one cockerel, a standard size barred rock. I know he 'mates' with the bantams, but I'm not sure if it's as frequent (or successful?) as it is with my standard size pullets. I have 4 of the OEG Bantams and 5 standard size pullets. If I put a number of bantam eggs under her, is there any chance that they would be fertilized? Also, how many (for a little bantam) would be enough? Can I put standard size pullet eggs under her? I know (from opening them) that the majority of my standard eggs are fertilized.

Thanks!
