Broody Standard Hen and Bantam Eggs

Just found that one of my sister's hens has gone broody. It's a California White and the eggs I'm incubating are Seramas.

I'd like to give her a few eggs to try, especially because my incubator is giving me issues with temps, but I worry thay giving a standard hen such a small breed to hatch may not be a good idea. I feel like she might either get rid of the eggs or kill the chicks once they hatch because they are so small.

Any advice?

A good broody will hatch whatever eggs you put under her and take care of the babies.

New question: Since broody hens tend to be mama bears how do I get the new eggs under her with the least amount of fuss?

Do it at night with as little fuss as possible. I actually do it during the day, but I don't worry about getting pecked.
