broody.....then not!

One of my white rocks went broody over the summer and hatched out a nice cute chick that is crossed between a Partridge Rock (rooster) and a White Brahma (hen). She has started going broody twice now and not finished. About a month ago she sat on 4 eggs for about 1-1/2 weeks, then quit and let them get cold. About 1 or 2 weeks after, she again started sitting and has been on for almost 2 weeks. Last night I observed and this morning and I think she may have given up again! Any ideas? Comments?

I had one do that to me a few days ago, lucky I had room in my bator as I had tossed some nonfertile ones a couple days before. Good luck with the eggs.
