I have a broody Spanish Black Tom. He is very easy going and when there was a few baby chicks getting into his cage he would do his best to walk around them. His mate went broody and he wanted to help out and would sit on the nest when she would get up to eat, which made her upset. They would both be sitting on the eggs together, one on the eggs the other next to the nest. It depended on who got up for a break. Unfortunately, the eggs were not fertile and never hatched out babies from the clutch. They are both young so maybe next time.
