My broody has been sitting for 3 days. Today, she got up and did her thing, but went back to the wrong nest. I don't know how long she has been sitting on the other nest. We dropped to 55* today. Is there any hope? The eggs were ice cold when I put her back on. 4 eggs btw

There is definitely hope. But snce she has done this once, she is likely to do it again, so you may want to move her to a private area, maybe a large dog crate, a shed, etc. Best chance at moving her without breaking the broodiness is doing it after dark, and move as much of the hest or nesting materials as you can, all at the same itme.

If you leave her where she is and take your chances, she may still hatch some chicks for you. I would mark the eggs I was hoping to hatch with a Sharpie, though. If you have other hens, they are likely to lay in her nest, or move her eggs.
