I have a broody White Rock, and she is CRANKY!
She's dominated the chosen nesting spot in our tractor, doesn't want to come out, gives me the worst stink eye, is constantly fluffing up her feathers while growling at me and the worst of all....
BROODY POOPS!
Due to the poor design of the used tractor she came with, I can't easily reach the site she's chosen to nest on. I can only bribe her out with meal worms, and I'm not sure how much longer that will work.
What happened to my sweet little girl? How do I get her to stop? We don't have a roo, so she's sitting on blanks (which I keep removing). We really don't need anymore chicks right now either. I am about to move her and our other hen into the new coop with five 18 week old pullets, will that snap her out of it? Should I wait on integration until she's come out of this?
