my showgirl hen went broody and I thought it would be cool to get some quail eggs for her to hatch out as an experiment. I didn't know if she would be successful and I've only used an incubator. She was successful and I have atleast 8 little bobwhites. My question is do I seperate them and put the quail in a brooder, or can I let them stay together? Can I feed the quail non medicated organic chick starter or do they have to be on a game bird food? Thanks in advance. Also as this is my first time with quail anything else you feel I need to know I would appreciate.

How cute! I'm sorry I don't know the answers to your questions, but if I were you I'd move or repost this in the "Quail" section of "Other Backyard Poultry". I'll bet you'll get more answers there. Good luck, they're adorable!
