Broody with diarrhea...

Our broody has diarrhea.

And we had to help her go

Now our house smells worse then a coop on a hot day

Thank the Lord we have an ozone air purifire that we run all the time.
Its already helping.
Good thing to, as I have company coming for dinner this evening

She is eating and drinking since we started forcing her to do so last week.
I have been feeding her scrambled eggs, sunflower seeds and

Just a theory, since she came in from such a cold environment, she does not want to get off the eggs, thinking her eggs will freeze.
Hence we have a mess to deal with.

I am doing what I did for our meat birds when they got ill, and that is I gave her a 1/2 tsp of Kombucha.
If needed, I will give her 1 drop of fermented cod liver oil.


I love my hubby more then ever, as he is the one that gloved up and did the deed. I just held my breath and the water sprayer.

Anyways, she is doing better.
We took her outside this time, as it was not an emergency, and she was more active in doing her own business this time.
We also lubed her up with raw coconut oil, and sent more kombucha and extra water down her hatch.
I have a sneaking suspicion this chicken is going to hate us, once this is all done.

And, I candled an egg today, and was pleased to see lots of wiggles
