I have two broody silkies setting. They are right up next to eachother with all the eggs under both. Once a day, I throw them off the nest to make them stretch their legs & eat. They usually put out gigantic Broody Poops at that time. Soooo, I was very surprised to find half their eggs smeared with dried poo this morning.

Just smeared, nothing that could be scraped off with a gloved finger.

Please, someone tell me it's okay & I should just ignore it.

It is ok. Chickens have been pooping on their eggs for millions of years. They'll hatch, or they won't. Just don't try & wash them: the last thing you want to do is get the poo wet, have the hen warm it up again, and help any bacteria grow.
