Thanks! To the broody breaker once I get home from work...This!!
I've got a pullet wants to be, probably is, broody.
Aggravating!!
She's been dinking around and clucking for a couple days, I've tossed her out of nest several times, pulling feathers for a week but still laying, and today she's probably going to go into the breaker crate.
Best of cLuck to the both of us!
Here's my setup:

I just finished breaking a very sweet but stubborn buff Orpington.
Second spell of broody and she's only 8-9 months old.
I tried everything!
Went straight to a dog crate this time.
Took a solid week. But it worked.
Awesome! I am so happy for you! And jealous too because We are limited as space and #of chickens too.Glad it worked! I wish more people were interested in chicks this time of year, I would love to give her some eggs to hatch and watch nature work its wonders!
Funny how when I got chickens at the beginning of the summer I thought it was solely to get healthy eggs from healthy chickens and now I don't care nearly as much about the eggs but have totally turned into a chicken person! ...there I was last winter planning and building my coop that cant house more than 3 birds saying to myself "this is plenty, I will be able to refrain from chicken math"
I am currently planning my next coop build(probably a few years from now, but a guy can dream!)
I too am limited on number of chickens and am not allowed a rooster. I am planning on moving in a couple of years though so am already thinking ahead for that!Awesome! I am so happy for you! And jealous too because We are limited as space and #of chickens too.
If you can figure out how to look it up I made a my coop page. They spend the morning in their run so I know they've eaten "breakfast" then I let them free range until roosting time , unless I need to put them up for some reason.
We only are actually allowed 5 and I was aiming for 4, but you know You know how chicken math works...
I have 6. I got those two extras "just in case".
So it's an all girls club here.
I thought about getting eggs for her because she'd be the best mommy chicken, but...
In fact someone I know vaguely offered to rehome her for me but thank god chicken jail worked.
I would have been so sad to see her go, she has the sweetest disposition.
Maybe someday I'll have an opportunity to marvel at the wonders of chicken nature.

Really glad the broody breaker worked for you so that you were able to keep your girl!
