OK so here is the story....
My lovely lavender bantam hen has gone broody twice in the space of time we had here (Got her mid April) The last time she went broody, was only recently and we thought she had come out of it a few days ago. Because in the day she will stay outside all day and not even go near the coop but at night when i go to lock them up she is always in the laying bay... She doesn't puff up when i go to get her out nor does she make those weird clucking noises, she just looks at me whilst i put her back where she is supposed to be. Then i go again about half an hour later and she is back in there. I put her with the other hen and put a something blocking the way to the nesting bay which i remove in the morning. Usually when she is broody she will knock it down but she doesn't and just goes to sleep like normal. We used to have three but one died so we only have two which is why I am so particular on her sleeping with the other hen (Ninja) because ninja and Mimi( Deseased) were best friends and always went round the garden together so i dont want her sleeping alone She also isn't laying at all.....Is this weird?

Hmm...it could be that she has just gotten into the habit of sleeping in the nesting area or she's currently thinking about going broody again. Which sounds strange, but sometimes my hen Jasmine will start sleeping in the nesting area a few days before she goes broody, if that makes sense. You may want to keep an eye on her for the next couple of days and see if she goes broody.

How old is she, and how old was she broody for? If she isn't showing any discomfort or illness, the egg laying issues are probably because she's still somewhat broody. She might've laid some eggs early on, and is now hormonal and inclined to 'wait' for them to hatch. This might go on for weeks, where she won't lay and will just sit where the eggs are supposed to be. You really just have to try to break her broodiness. But do keep an eye out to make sure there isn't anything else wrong with her.

she is around 2 years old and she was broody last about 7 days ago. What is really weird is she doesn't go in the coop at all in the day..

Sometimes hens display some broody symptoms without properly going broody.
But, I think your hen just wants to sleep there.
It's a bit of a pain, since droppings in the egg box is not ideal.
You can block off the eggbox by putting something in the box overnight, and eventually she should stop.
