Broody's in winter? Is it to cold to let them hatch eggs?

We have two hens who have been broody for over a month I have tried everything even the wire floor cage, as soon as they are back with the flock they go broody again. I feel bad for them would it hurt to let them hatch a couple eggs each? Is there any chance they could, It is December in Iowa and pretty cold some days under 0 there coop is not heated though it keeps the wind out well. Just wanted the proffesionals opinion What can I do?

I have 5 hens w/ chicks running around now, different ages, and I have 2 hens sitting on eggs. If you want some chicks, give them hens some eggs, they know what they are doing and will hatch and raise em for ya.......................good luck..........

If you let her hatch, just let her have a few, so she doesn't have to try to keep a small flock warm. Just a single or pair of chicks under each wing.
