brown egg bantams?

What bantam breed lays the darkest brown egg? Thanks!

As far as I know the Marans Bantams and Welsummer Bantams are the darkest egg layers.

Yes I believe one of our BYCer has some.

I believe there are several of us with them now. Mine are 4 weeks old, still don't know who is who yet and what colors will finish out. I know I have some cuckoo and the others are still just black, sure that will change with age. They did come from nice brown eggs.

Look at the Marans Club and find some bantam breeders in there. Someone would be able to help you there.
