Brown-legged Bantams? What are they

I had my sister call and ask if I wanted to buy some Brown-Legged Bantams but I have no idea what they look like or if they are good layers. I would be interested but then I am not sure what they are like. I still love the idea of getting my Silkie's but they arent pure bred and I want pure bred but then I could still ha fun with the Silkie's and these Bantams but still would like to know something about them.

There is no such breed as Brown Legged bantams. Your sister must have meant Brown Leghorn bantams. They are bantam-sized versions of Brown Leghorn. Like there standard sized counterparts, they are high strung and flighty, but excellent layers of white eggs (although smaller than the standard Brown Leghorn eggs).
