THey can lay an off white or cream egg I've read.My brown leghorns are my favorite hens.I added 9 a few years ago but only kept 3(limited space) Now I'm crossing them with a legbar rooster so the chicks will lay colored eggs.They are an excellent mix for a free range flockLittle update on my chicks. Gave the two away. We had to put one of ours down so I only have one now. She’s a sweetheart though! I just love her so much. She laid her first egg at 22.5 weeks. It’s more of a cream color than white. Is that normal? I’m happy about it either way!

The cockerels are gorgeous! Pullet does look just like a legbar2 cockerels from this cross(1st and 2nd photos)The 3rd photo is one of the pullets.They resemble legbars and have crests
