Brown leghorn roo or hen?

5 ish weeks is my guess, I’ve had it for 3 weeks. It’s the only one among my baby chicks that dislikes being picked up, or won’t even allow me to get close to it. It is extremely loud compared to the rest of the chicks if I attempt to pick it up, whereas the rest of the chicks are mellow and I spend a lot of time with them. So is it a hen or roo?

Feather coloring looks as if it is a pullet. A free standing profile picture would be far better for gender ID.

It is so hard to get a photo of it without it always being in motion. But here’s a picture from 5 days ago.

Probably. Now that you mention it, I remember my leghorn pullets had real distinct combs and waddles.

Oo okay that makes sense, first time having chicks so I got a variety of breeds. But this one is a stinker, has so much sass.
