Brown leghorn/welsummer mix?

On March 14th, I purchased what were advertised as brown leghorns (Rural King), BUT.... they finally started laying and they have only laid brown eggs. BTW, their earlobes are only partially white. Are they welsummers instead? Or a mix of the two? Or something else?

They look like mixes to me. That's what I'm thinking, they're definitely not 100% leghorn, they're eggs would be white. Any thoughts on what they're mixed with?

They could be some sort of hybrid layer like one of the various sex links. Hopefully someone more familiar can help. I'm not familiar with what Rural King sells or where they source their chicks from.

I have some similar pullets that I too was trying to figure out. Brownish red black tail white ears. How long have you had yours? Are they friendly?

They're Pearl Star Leghorns. Which actually aren't Leghorns at all.
