Hi I'm new to owning chickens and was wondering if females have a floppy comb and have shiny green or blue feathers? All of mine have developed green/blue feathers!

I presume you are talking about brown leghorns, right?

Having green and blue feathers does not always indicate a rooster in all breeds of chickens. In Rhode Island Reds, though (and some more breeds), having long greenish-blue tail feathers usually indicate a male. However there are some other breeds, such as one of my Easter Egger hens, that are greenish-blue in some areas of their bodies.

Usually hens do have small or "floppy cones" helping you to identify them are males or females. The comb on a hen is usually more pinkish instead of dark red like a rooster.
