It eats and drink just fine and acts normal. If it’s a girl she’ll stay for egg laying and brooding only. If it a boy he’ll got to freezer camp.
Im afraid of this too.. the coop/run is pretty secure, but the ground settled where the two connect, so im afraid a stinker snake will make its way in. I'll have to work on that soon. Crossing my fingers on your hatch!!A snake got in again!6/11 eggs remain. Mr. Snake pushed the eggs out of the nesting box, the eggs where cold when I found them. The vessels still look good, so I hope they still hatch.
If not, I guess I’ll breed them again if another hen goes broody.
