I cracked an egg to eat. There was a slight blood spot and 4 different sizes of brown spots in the yolk only. Bright light shows greenish tinges. Those spots also show on the inside of the shell. I’ve never seen or heard of actual spots-not specks-in fresh chicken eggs.
Is this safe to eat? Do I have a sick chicken? What do I do, please?

Do not eat, it looks rotten. How old is the egg? Does it have a foul smell?
That’s what I thought, Thank you! But, no smell at all. About 3 weeks old. The float test showed as still fine.
