Brown Sugar

we have this piece of...it ain't pottery but it might be...anyways...the wife soaks it in water or something and puts it in there. I am not in-charge of that. Hope that helps.

Terracotta soaked in water and placed in the bag keeps it moist. However if it is already hard, try nuking it for a bit. Not too long or it will melt.

Or you can make your own so you always have fresh. Mix 1 cup of white sugar with 1 tablespoon (2 for dark brown) molasses.

Yep. Works for cookies too. I put a slice in a bag of crispy chocolate chip cookies yesterday, and today they're soft and chewey!

I make my own as I find the brown sugar these days seems a bit mellowed down.

Where do you get molasses????
