Bruising around head?

I'm glad to hear she's doing better and is eating too!

How large is the bird cage? Puppy pads work fairly well for small brooders if she's indoors, they are not as dusty as bedding (pine shavings).

When she's improved more, do you think she'll go outside to eventually join the others?
Its like a good size guinea pig cage. Very spacious rather than the little box she was in. I use pine pellets for cat litter so I just used that for the night. And she's liking the extra room.

She improved from the URI and thats why I slowly started back introducing her outside. I dont know if I can fully put her back out this winter but I'm definitely gonna try and let her out on the pretty days im off work. So she can get exercise but also, be around the others as well as getting use to outside. Shes been in the house for 3 months now. Its basically all she knows.

To everyone that helped, I just want to say thank you! My chick had been doing much better and then we noticed she's been really unsteady on her feet the last week or so and I would let her out of the cage and she would walk around the house to stretch her legs. Tonight was no different except I think she had a seizure and passed away. Any other time, I would say its just a chicken ( we have about 30 of them) but not her. I raised her from like 8 weeks old in the house. My dogs or cats never bothered her, she was completely comfortable with them. She was so full of life. So thank you all, again!
