Akima dipped her head to get a drink, watching Texas curiously. "I'm Akima" She said after a moment then looked to where he had looked.

"I got lost from my dam and herd." Akima said, lowering her head a little then she looked back at him a little confused "What's masters?"

Texas cocked his head to the side slightly "Herd? You know, people masters. Surely you-" He stopped when he saw she didn't know. He started again "I'm sorry about your, uh, herd"

Akima shook her mane "Thanks, I keep looking for them, but I can't find them anywhere" She said sadly. She was still thinking of the 'people masters' comment also. She raised her head ears perked "Are they those two leg creatures my sire told us to run from?"

Akima smiled and turned to get out of the water "We ran fast that day, it was the only time I have seen those masters" She grinned at using the new word.
