Inferno stopped when she realized her twin wasn't following.

Scorch went still and whinnied for her herd. She didn't want to enter the forest.

Zachorzi paused and lowered his head for a nibble of grass. The bay stallion knew he would never have one mare who loved him for him, let alone an entire herd. Zachorzi pinned his ears and screamed.
