I knew my royal palm had a nest somewhere, but I had looked and didn't see it nearby. I was spraying brush killer on tall rhubarb when I found her. I do not think that i sprayed her. She is sitting on many eggs. I moved her and her eggs somewhere else. She seems ok. I am trying to contact Bayer the company that makes the brushkiller. Any thoughts?

My neighbor did this on the other side on a field. It got into her yard, killed all of her chickens and ducks because they grazed on it unknowingly. Her eggs are probably protected but I would give her some water to help her wash it off.

well last night something got her, ripped her wings off, the grass was all matted. I think it had to be a coyote. I shouldve moved her. I was afraid she wouldn't sit on her eggs. I would rather still have my turkey. My dog is out there barking at the fence. The dog is pretty old, 9, for a pyrenees, what the heck was she doing? Anyway, I have a turkey sitting in the barn on eggs, there's a possum hanging around and another in the front yard in a batch of day lillies, but the dog sleeps right by there.
If I hadn't sprayed the turkey probably wouldve been more well hidden. it is really scary to know that there are big animals out there at night. I am going to get a motion sensor light, closing the barn too late.
I am just sick. I already lost 3 babies this year, because the muscovy hatched them, so I left them with her. I think she was too heavy. The turkey was sitting in there too, but she hadn't been sitting on the eggs, so I didn't trust her. I have a great chicken who will raise anything, but she had disappeared, found her yesterday, sitting on eggs, in a dish on the wall of a stall. I guess I could just hatch eggs in an incubator, but my goal is not babies, but to have the turkey have her babies.
I am just sick. My 19 year old daughter found her and she is upset. She said the wings were left but when we went out tonight to collect the eggs, there was nothing left but feathers. The eggs weren't sat on all day, do you think they are still ok?
