I need some help with what I think is called bubble eye. I have 13 Muscovy ducks but this only appears on one drake. In the morning his eyes are clear after being in the coop all night. But off and on during the day, while outside free-ranging or in large run, I will notice those bubbles on his eyes. Should I worry?

It can happen when they aren’t washing their faces like in head dunking. It can also mean respiratory but it is usually the first one. If you can make sure they have a bucket or bowl deep enough to dunk their heads it’s very important they keep their eyes and nares clean You can add some ACV to their water that can help 1 Tablespoon per gallon.

Mine tend to have that; and runny snotty noses; during summer and winter. It's because they can't get to water as easily as normal to clean themselves. (because either it is not there/green or frozen). So it is a sign I have to activaly fill a bath twice a day and create "bath moments". Whereas the rest of the seasons once a week will do.

If the goo is clear; it is probably this.
