It looks like possible fowl pox, but the foot scab is a little unusual. Are there any ants around? Do any other birds have scabs? Fowl pox is a virus spread by mosquitoes, and it lasts about a month before going away. Do not disturb the scabs since that can spread the virus. thank you for responding. it likely isn't fowl pox as everything i've read indicates those would be scabby. these are smooth, protruding, and fluid filled. red ants were seen yesterday, so today ill spread either sevin or lime.
