I have had that happen with only one egg and it was because it was a stinker. I threw it out just in time before it exploded.

It says to immerse for 1min in warm water/sanitiser solution

Just means it has a big pore. The egg is expanding like it should in hot water an is pushing stuff out. The egg should still be fine.
