New question- if everyone is still doing a-ok (minus the sneezing), could it have something to do with the fact that everyone's favorite place to dust bathe is smack dab in the middle of an huge ash pile? Their coop is by an old burn pit and they've scratched down to an ash layer. They love it. Dust flies everywhere and it's hilarious to watch them wallow and bask in all their glory. Is it bad for their lungs? I've never used DE because it seems pretty controversial and divisive. People either swear that it ruined or saved their flock. Are wood ash and DE that different or similar? I know they have a lot of the same benefits, but I haven't heard as much about ash.
