I have a 4 month old pullet I noticed had a few bubbles in her eye. She has always lacked feathers around that eye and was a little watery, but now she only has the feathers missing. She was rolling around in the dirt yesterday and had the bubbles, I wiped it off thinking it was only dirt in her eye. And now, the bubbles are back this morning. Is it just dirt or is it something else?
Please let me know, she is a very special chicken. She has a bad wing and eye, she had a heat stroke when she was a chick, which gave her mental problems. She survived all that and is my special chicken, she follows me around and sits with me, I really hope this bubble isn't something bad.

Bubbles in the eyes are often a sign of respiratory ailment. LIsten closely to hear if she has a rattly sound to her breathing. If so, I have a FAQ about treating respiratory ailments here:http://hencam.com/faq/respiratory-diseases/
I had a hen with a respiratory ailment that showed up mainly in a bubbly eye. Along with antibiotics, she needed antibiotic ointment in her eye. She fully recovered.
OTOH, it could be that since her eye is already compromised, that she has just an eye problem. An antibiotic ointment should help that.

You'll have to get an opthalmic antibiotic from your vet. Depending on the vet this could be expensive - some charge a lot for an office visit. You'll have to decide if the expense if worth it. Or, you could go on-line and buy drops. First State Vet Supply has avian antibiotic drops.
