Bubbles in eyes rattled breathing! Please help!

Ok, I just called my local feed store and they carry La 200 so I’m going to go pick it up. Cheaper than the vet! Thank you so much!

If you have other chickens that were exposed to this one, I would treat the whole flock. I assume when you say "bubbly" that there is actual discharge from the eyes/nasal area? Is it crusting at all?

Yes I’ll treat everyone. The eyes aren’t like dripping with fluid but there are lots of tiny bubbles in the corner of the eyes. The rattling isn’t very loud like videos I’ve seen online so I’m hoping we caught it early enough.

When you pick up the antibiotic, be sure to get a syringe with a needle because you'll need a needle to extract the antibiotic from the bottle.

Ohhh, thank you! Would not have thought of that. I’ll try to get a pic of her eye when I’m out there as well.

Remember you cannot eat the eggs during the antibiotic treatment and for about 2 weeks afterwards. I usually save these eggs, scramble, and serve back to the chickens as a treat.

Ok so I think I got the correct stuff. I have 8 chickens so I give 8cc in the water? Is there a way I can give the visibly sick one a dose directly down her throat to make sure she gets some?

Is she not drinking at all? I would watch to make sure she drinks some. Putting liquid down the throat can be kind of dangerous. 8 ccs in the water, maybe 1/2 gallon or so.
