Bubbles in one Eye

Hello All
I have a showgirl roo thats got bubbles in one of his eyes for the last week, Just a few in the corner of it. I don't know if he has been fighting with the other silkie roo or if he has got a cold? He does not seem to care and goes about hes day with no sign of being sick. Thanks for any help you can give. Dennis

This is a sign of some kind of upper respitory infection.

It could be bronchitis, infectious laryngotrachietis (SP) or ms.

You should seperate the bird from the flock as it will spread to others.

Separate at any signs of oddness.. my rooster had the same thing was told it was CRD. give him 1/4 a of Tylanol and siness (spelling?) pill., Grab him. and squeeze NOT ALOT. just a little at the very back of his mouth. wont hurt him. then slide your finger in his mouth or just put the pill in. and let him close his mouth. He'll swallow it. of course. unless its a standard bird. use half the pill (depending on the size) but i thought showgirls were bantams? anyway,. this cleared my birds (CRD) up in about. a day. or may have been 2 and only gave it to him once. Hope this helps...

i said what i meant. i used Tylanol. Which is mostly used for headaces. except its tylanol and siness (siness. Cant spell it but by it i mean the mucus stuff ) i gave my rooster 1/4 tylanol and "mucus" it cleared it up. if i would have used Tylan. i would have said tylan. Believe me as well. i know what tylan is. tylan 2000 or something like that was suggested. was told to give 2 cc's in the breast (they thought i had a large bird) BUT i was also told to just use 1/4 of a tylanol pill. so i did. Perhaps try it yourself if you dont believe me.​
