Ruptured Air Cell eggs, don't make it due to the free flowing bubbles in the Albumin. Whenever I get those, I scrap them.

Detached, & jiggly air cells are easily dealt with though.

Hey I have hatched quite a few with dislodge air cells all hope is not listed. In the incubator small side down( I use a half egg carton ) and use a water bottle cap to shift the eggs from one side to the other. Just change the corner it is sitting on three times a day if you can. And what happens. It can only be wrong It has worked for me.

Thank you! I’m going to give this one a shot anyway. I only have 3 Orpington eggs so maybe it will pull through. If not, I can take it out when I candle on day 7. I don’t have high hopes, but hey, weirder things have happened!

Eggs are more resilient than we give them credit for! It may fail, but then it may very well make it, so give it a chance. I just had some eggs hatch after the broody left the nest unattended for a whole day during lockdown (potentially overnight, too, I'm not sure). I wanted to throw her in the pot, I was so mad! Some died, but most of them hatched anyway, so yeah... weird things happen in the chicken world.

I have Isabel I put in last weekend all dislodge air cells. So I got my fingers crossed I will get at least one or two very hard not to candle every day. But I want to give them every chance I can. I really want some Isabel in my kid friendly flock.
