My neighbor called me and said the first 5 baby chicks were a nickel total, and then you had to pay the reg. price for the rest. WHAT a deal. I just am not set up for it yet. Thank goodness the hatcheries deliver all year. I may have to drive to Missouri and just pick mine up from Cackle. Be too hot to ship. But I love MEYERS and their gorgeous catalog . . .decisions, decisions.

well when your ready for chicks I'm sure you will have a few options to purchase them ... hatchery, friends , craigslist, local paper , tractor supply company, livestock feed and tack suppliers.


By the way - what type of chicks does your friend have, just curious? 5 cent = wow great deal.
