We have a Flemish Giant buck that is about 1-2 years old and he does not seem interested in mating with our females. Does anyone have any suggestions about what we can do to get him interested?

You may just not be seeing "the act", I guess I'm not familiar with rabbits but with my goats this last fall, I rented a buck and he appeared to have 0 interest in the ladies(though they just couldn't get enough of him) so I traded him for another a month later. Just started kidding last Friday, over half the herd done. If the 2nd buck took care of any, they wouldn't start till April 26. So buck #1 apparently just wanted to keep his relationships private.

Like I said, not sure if that applies to rabbits though.

One thing you can try,is putting the doe in the bucks cage, and the buck in the does cage and leave like that for about a day. This way, they will both be able to smell each other, and maybe get him more 'in the mood' :) This is what I often do with tricky does that dont want to breed even when they're ready. Another thing, is he might just be a slower matureing buck. If he is around one, then this could be the case. I don't breed Flemish, but I think the averag breeding age for the bucks is about 8-9 months.
