Buck to Wether?

If you have a buck that is about a year old nuetered would he still have the strong buck smells?
 
I would think it would help with the smell. It might take a little time for the hormone levels to drop, though. If you did it right before they hit their breeding season, I don't think it would help much the first time. Maybe someone with more experience with later age neutering will show up and comment.
 
if you wether him, he will stop all the nasty behavior that makes him stink. It will take a bit for the existing odor to fade, but it will.

He is like a big pet,,,but the smell is too much.
I will be looking for a vet to get him fixed.
