One of my Buckeye hens has a growth on its comb and beak and it has now spread underneath its beak. The growth got picked off by the other hens and grew back larger than in the photo(it looks like a dark black scab). We have separated her from the others for the time being. She is eating well and with exception of the growth, is healthy. None of the other birds are showing signs of the growth. The weather is getting cooler and we want to return her to the flock....do you have any idea what this could be and how do we treat her? Thanks, Bud and Lucy
