Maybe I'm being crazy but I'm just seeing a super prominent middle row. Here's a comparison picture of one of my pullets with the same feature at 13-ish weeks and it looks comparable to me. Even my slow-to-mature Brahma cockerels had redder combs at this age and had saddle feathers developing. This bird is tricky though and perhaps an update in a few weeks would be helpful!

I have a approximately 3 month old buff Brahma that I’m having trouble telling whether it’s a cockerel or pullet. Anyone have any experience sexing buff brahmas at this age? Thanks.

Can you update us on your findings? I'm on the same boat.

maybe cockerel i have a RIR that everyone said was a male and it turned out to be a she so not sure
