Buff brahma

Curious on the blue/lavender down feathers. Can someone tell me more about this? does she carry a lavender or a blue gene? also, is it possible to get blue buffs from her?

Having some amount of dark-colored down like this is pretty typical of columbian patterns based on the e^b allele as Brahmas are, at least in my experience. It does not indicate that the bird carries blue or lavender.
