Our buff Cochin Maybelle got stomped on by our rooster. I witnessed it, he mated her and then kept coming back to her and repeatedly, violently stomping her, flattening her into the ground. He is not like that with any of the other hens, but this is the 2nd time he has done this to Maybelle. I had to help her off the ground, she stumbled away. She spent the whole next day on the floor of the coop in a corner. That evening, we noticed she couldn't stand all the way up. We brought her inside into her own crate. She is still unable to stand straight up. She is drinking but not interested in her food. She is very interested in the meal worms however (her favorite). The weird thing is, her poop has green in it. So I have no idea if her "injuries" were caused by the rooster (and what r the injuries) or if she was sick and he picked up on it - the green poop throws me off. Any ideas?
