Buff duck Egg wobbling on day 17 almost 18

They must be due to hatch in the next couple of days. Sometimes they'll do that as they are positioning themselves to get ready to hatch. Not all will wiggle so don't pay any attention if some do and some don't.

Did you collect them from a nest that a duck (or other bird) may have been sitting on for a few days before you collected them?
And did you put them immediately and do the incubator that same day or did you perhaps store them in a warm humid environment?

No these eggs we got from Metzer farm and I let them set for 24 hours but I ddi switch them to a bigger incubator when they were on day 7

Could you try candleing the egg? Here are some pictures of eggs at different stages. Hope this helps!

That looks about normal for 17 days. I’ve had eggs wiggle that early to, though it’s rare. Incubate it as planned and it should be fine but I would candle it a few days prior to lockdown to see how it’s doing.

Okay I definitely will but It does not seem to be wiggling the egg anymore but the baby is still alive.
