Buff Ducklings!

I had posted this picture in the Goose threads, but figured it was unfair not to make a thread for the Buffs as well.


They are super active, brave, and funny! I was wondering if anyone else had some Buff ducklings/ducks? I would love to hear about anyone elses experiences with them.

I have four buffs, and they are wonderful!

These are adopted rescues, so I cannot say how they were raised. They are more shy than my hand-raised runners, but full of personality, outgoing, usually cooperative. They are a little more cold-hardy than my runners, but similar weight - 4 plus pounds. Maybe half to a pound larger than my runners.

What nice looking ducks! Mine are a week old today and are full of personality! Thanks for sharing!

awe! how cute! not yet, but soon i have a pair of ducklets i am adding in the next few weeks, we thought it would be fun to add some quacking ducks as all the rest are Muscovy.
