Buff Easter Egger sex? 6 wks old - pics!

Hi All! I can’t find much info on this color EE. My other has a standard female partridge coloration. What do you think, pullet or cockerel? Six weeks old today, bought as sexed pullet but it was the only buff in the box, the rest were all partridge.

Looks like a pullet for now, but it's still a little early. Repost when she's about 12 weeks old.

I agree, I would say pullet now but keep us posted with updated pictures. You can't just go by coloring but I do have a couple hens with this coloring. As the weeks progress, updates on the feathers and comb will help. You could update weekly if you would like.

LOL! EE’s don’t have standard colors. Every bird is a bit different. They aren’t ‘partridge and buff.’

Long story short, EEs aren’t a breed. They’re a hodgepodge of blue/ green egg laying mixes.

Pullet for now. I have one just like her but keep your eye on that comb.

Thank you to all who chimed in! It seems the consensus is she's a pullet (I'm much relieved, as I can't keep a rooster). I posted this in part so that other people who are searching for info about sexing EEs and this particular coloration could find it, so I'll post back with some more pics in a month or so.
