I have a buff gander, and hatched out some embdens this spring. Going to keep one female to be his companion. What might the goslings look like? Is white dominant, or would they be an in-between shade of buff?
Thanks

I have no idea on color of goslings but I bet they will be pretty. I have a Buff female and an Embden gander, No offspring

I have a Toulouse gander from a Buff Goose/ Toulouse gander he he looks more Toulouse.

I'm PRETTY sure buff is a dilute off if gray, not sure though. And I THINK white is dominant over gray? Or is gray over white? Either way, I think they will be white, OR buff with white markings around the beak and such. Either way, they will be beautiful!

Well here is the mister, meeting his foster kids (and future mate) for the first time.

And here he is lifeguarding swim time in a two gallon bucket, because I guess the ducks were hogging the cement mixing tub.

And here is the fearsome threesome in their molting teenager plumage. I have since sold a pair, and kept the female on the left as a mate for Gus.

Just as I thought, gorgeous geese I look forward to seeing those goslings next spring. Looks like he took his father goose role very seriously. I love that about them.
