Someone gave me a buff laced bearded poland roo. Does anyone know where I might buy a couple hens for him? Thanks!

P.S. Quality is not tops, just want something for Topper to love and share his coop with. He's lonely for his kind;

You can try My Pet Chicken if you'd like pet-quality. I'm actually ordering there for the first time and I'm getting a few Polish with their 'small order policy'. I've heard good things about them.

The minimum orders are on the bottom of their 'day-old-chicks' page.

There ya go.

My Golden Polish Roo is the head of my flock he loves all his ladies even the ones that are not Polish.
So if you just want to provide him with company, any hens will do.

All of you that have polish roos, how loud are they compared to other roos? I would like to get one, but not one that crows every hour. My last silkie roo would crow...kid you not every half hour!! He was crazy. My friend who raises silkes as well has a nice roo who only crows a few times a day.

I currently have 2 buff laced frizzled polish, and 1 white smooth polish. Would like to get a nice roo!

K625 where in Florida are you I currently have 7 polish roos that I am taking to the Windmill auction in Branford. I have one buff,three silver laced and 3 splash roos They crow occassionally but I really don't think they crow alot Now my banites crow all night Didn't sllep at all last night as I forgot to close the bedroom windows. Couldn't figure why I could hear them so loud Duh We have a crowing contest around here everyday as I am overrun with roos. Hopefully they will all be gone this weekend.
