Buff/Lavender Rooster??? PIC!

This handsome guy might soon be coming home with me, the current owners have no idea what breed he is, but I was amazed at first sight because to me he looks Lavender! Does anybody have any idea on what breed/type he is?

He looks like a really light buff rock to me. But having said that, I breed two Red sex links together and got chicks that look just like the rooster in your picture. The hens are even that gorgeous. I am kinda excited because they are like a buttery cream color with darker hackle feathers.

He is a gorgeous guy though and I would certainly be proud to own him.

He does look like a cross of something, and yes his hackle feathers and saddle feathers look buff... but am I the only one seeing the lavender-gray chest and tail plumage??

Doesn't really look lavender at all to me. I'd say he is probably a sexlink roo or something, he looks white with a little yellow leaking trough in the pyle sections, typical sexlink coloring.

I'm going to go take a look at him in person tomorrow, I'll take a few pictures when I'm there. If he's gentle and not aggressive then I think I may bring him home. I could put him over my EEs and my BW Ameraucana pullets that I'm growing up and maybe make some stunning Easter Eggers?

Might be isabel. The lav gene dilutes buff as well as black. Does he have any black feathers? If he does, he's not lav. If he doesn't, he might be.....
