Buff Orpington and Cuckoo Maran Pullet or Cockerel

Classic question of two birds that were sold as pullets that are not acting such. A buff orpington and a cuckoo maran. Any insight is appreciated if the pictures can help determine the gender. The Buff is 15 weeks and the cuckoo is 8 weeks. Thank you.

Agreed. It may be a CM mix. Definitely a mixed breed though.
