Buff Orpington Attitude!!!!

In my experience a roo that is being mean, especially at that young age, is going to keep on being mean. I agree with the stew pot suggestion!

He is indeed beautiful, so maybe someone who doesn't mind an aggressive roo will want him.

Here is my BO roo. He is 14.5 weeks old and just started crowing. Sometimes when I open the coop in the morning, he gives me the stink eye, but once he realizes it's me and that I might have treats, he gets really gentle. I have a 4 and 5 yo and so far, he has not shown one sign of aggression toward them, but I am always watchful. He hasn't started getting his hackles up at me yet, but if he does, I might peck him on the head! haha.

If he does get mean, my husband says it will be our fault because we named him Muffin (he was supposed to be a pullet). Anyway, I definitely think you have a rooster.

Forgot to add..
My roo is super tall for some reason..His head is to my knees now.And he is less than a year old now.
But he isnt agressive tho.He doesnt peck or chase..Actually he is afraid of his own shadow now since they got chased by some stray dogs.
But he isnt mean .
I cna understand kids beeing afraid of him etc.. but as an adult. I would just simply smack him or not backdown if he would attack me. No way I would let a rooster or anything lower than me on the foodchain attack me and get away with it.

but on other hand.. you might have yourself an attack /watchdog kinda roo there gig

Or a good chicken soup
