Can't believe I just noticed it this morning. My chicks are 10 weeks old and are in a paddock right next to my three "Big Girls". I thought I had two Buff Orpington's in the mix. I purchased them at a feed store so I know there's room for error.
I've been struggling to tell the difference between the two of them but they seemed identical in every way - comb, body build, color. This morning I noticed that one has yellow legs and the legs seem a bit stockier than the bird with the pale, flesh-colored legs. Picture below, sorry it's through the paddock but I was too lazy to go crawling in -

Am I correct in thinking the yellow legged girl is a Buff Rock? Will the two continue to appear so much alike, other than the leg color? How are the two breeds different in laying and personality?
Thanks!
