Same boat here I have two cockerels that I've posted everywhere I can of to get them homes. Mine are barnyard mixes so you may have better luck since yours is a pure breed.

Why wouldn’t someone want a backyard mix and what does that mean like a Americano and a barred rock mixed? Also what is the last resort just put them in the freezer?

No...there are several ways to humanely dispatch a chicken and freezing is not one of them. Cervical dislocation, decapitation, and euthanasia by a vet are some humane methods. You can Google them.

Barnyard mix is like calling a dog a mutt, no idea on parentage/breed. Yes, culling is a last resort for me. I'm actually hoping at least one of mine turn into A-holes so it'll be easier.

lol sorry I didn’t mean put a live chicken in the freezer I meant putting a plucked chicken in the freezer I wouldn’t do that
